Installing mysql2 gem in Mac OS X 10.6.x

It’s very exciting that i can finally install mysql2 on Mac OS X 10.6 successfully!!

solved with

sudo gem install mysql2 -- --srcdir=/usr/local/mysql/include

    Does not work, “–srcdir=” does not make sense, option is “–with-opt-include=”

      Actually i am able to install mysql2 gem to 1.9.2 with rvm successfully by this option, but while i’m trying to start rails server, it say some libraries are missing.
